Rotary microtome with STS

The rotary microtome Microm HM355S is a universal heavy duty microtome for specially sophisticated paraffin, and hard sectioning techniques. Sectioning is done with a motorized rotary microtome with section transfer system.  A laminar flow water bridge enables the smooth transfer from the blade to a heated and illuminated waterbath for stretching. Thus the manual transfer to an external water bath is unnecessary. Use of this instrument  allows for accurate sectioning with minimal loss of tissue. The HM355S will cut sections in a range from 0,5 μm up to 100 μm.
