For students

The Institute of Anatomy covers the whole spectrum of anatomical teaching including gross anatomy, histology, and embryology in study programs at the Faculty of Medicine (MeF), the Science Faculty (MNF) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ).

In total, more than 4.100 hours of teaching per year are delivered by members of the Institute of Anatomy in form of lectures, practical courses, and problem-oriented learning. An anatomical collection and innovative e-learning resources support the teaching. The education program of the Institute of Anatomy receives excellent feedback from the students.

Moreover, the Institute of Anatomy is actively involved in the training of master students at the MeF, MNF, and ETHZ and participates to several PhD programs of the Life Science Zurich Graduate School.
